The Meteorological Department said, “Weather forecasts, according to the latest updates issued today indicate that the country during the weekend will be prone European high air pressure belt blowing from the northwest, accompanied by a mass of very cold air, which will noticeably decrease the maximum and minimum temperatures.”
In a statement, the meteorologists expect, “the minimum temperature will reach below zero degrees Celsius, especially in the western regions, with chances of frost formation in agricultural and desert areas,” reports Al-Rai.
