The Meteorological Department expects most regions of Kuwait to witness scattered rainfall today and tomorrow morning and on Thursday, accompanied by high velocity winds that may exceed 50 kilometers per hour in some areas, with sea waves rising to six feet.

The weather forecast observer, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is under the influence of an extension of an air depression from the Red Sea, and will be accompanied by medium clouds interspersed with thunderstorms.

He called on everyone to follow the weather forecast on the MET website www.met.gov.kw and through its official application on the Kuwait Met smartphones, especially during weather fluctuations, to keep in touch with the latest weather developments and to view weather warnings if issued.
