The Meteorological Department indicated in a “weather alert” that “the country is expected to be affected by sporadic rains, sometimes thundery and heavy, with a decrease in horizontal visibility in some areas, accompanied by wind activity that may reach a speed of more than 60 kilometers per hour, causing dust and high waves more than 7 feet.
The Met department said the warning period will last 36 hours, starting at six in the evening today.
