On the occasion of the National Day of the Italian Republic, the Italian Ambassador, H E Carlo Baldocci extended greetings and respects to the highest Kuwaiti authorities, H H the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and H H the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people.
The ambassador also sent heartfelt greetings to all his compatriot residents living in Kuwait or who are waiting to return to it. He also mentioned the men and women of the Italian military Contingent present in Kuwait. He said that the National Day of the Italian Republic is an important part of the collaboration between Kuwait and Italy.
During his speech, the Ambassador said that the countries went through a difficult time due to the pandemic in Italy, Kuwait, and around the world. He sends his thoughts to the families who have suffered a loss due to Covid-19.
The ambassador praised the relation between Kuwait and Italy he said that in this difficult situation friendly relations between Italy and Kuwait have continued and the two countries have close collaborations in all sectors.
The ambassador is optimistic that the bilateral relationship between the two countries would develop further in the future. He hopes that the normal phase of life will return soon with the end of the pandemic. He wished everyone remotely a Happy 2nd of June and ended his message with a slogan, ‘Long live Italy, long live the Republic!’
