Perhaps the biggest of its kind in the world and braving the corona pandemic, the UEF World Summit along with Trade Expo will kick off on 4 December in Tamil Nadu, the southern state of India, which will see active participation of over 6000 delegates and 80 speakers drawn for 30 countries.
The three-day virtual mega-event hosted by the United Economic Forum Chamber of Commerce to be held online will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. E Palaniswami in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam.
Over 80 speakers including the Head of the Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah Dr. Bandar Hajjar are among the distinguished personalities who will be addressing the global summit
With a theme “Imagine-Impact-Inspire, the UEF global summit will see a wide range of speakers that include former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor, Dr. Rangarajan former Governor RBI, Prince of Arcot Abul Ali Azim Jah, former IAS and educationist Moosa Raza, Mr. Ayman Sliny, CEO of Islamic Corporate for Development besides many others
Extremely happy at the whopping response this global meet has evoked, UEF President Mr. Ahmed A R Buhari said the response has been amazing in spite of the Covid 19 pandemic while adding that tremendous efforts have gone into making this summit truly global. “This is our 4th edition of the Mega Event of UEF but the first virtual meet”, he added
Mr. Buhari said multiple sessions at the summit will provide a platform for Entrepreneurs, Companies, Educationist, Policy Makers, and Business Organizations to connect to the global audience in an interactive and engaging virtual platform. “Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru Edapaddi Palaniswami who has kindly agreed to inaugurate this 3-day mega-event will set the tone for a very successful and meaningful conference”, he pointed out.
On the theme Buhari said this summit has a novel theme: ‘Imagine – Impact – Inspire’ which encapsulate three basic features .” Imagine stands for – Imagine a New Future, Impact stands for – Impacting Humanity, and Inspire stands for – To Inspire the World.”
Sharing the salient features W S Habib, Chairman, World Summit 2020 said “Although it is a virtual Summit, it has been planned and executed most professionally with minute detailing by experts. The Plenary Sessions and Thematic sessions have all been chosen carefully and relevant to current challenges.
Some of the sessions expected to be covered in the seminar include, “Tamil Nadu a land of investment Opportunities, Health Care and pandemic economics, Industry: Accelerating growth through product, process and scale, Re-imagining Educational Institutions and many other interesting sessions on economic development.
