The Ministry of Health is in the process of establishing three new sites to be used as branches of the General Medical Council in Farwaniya, Jahra and the Hawalli governorates.

A local Arabic daily quoting reliable health sources confirmed the new branches are expected to be opened during the next few months to serve the citizens and residents of those governorates.

The sources explained the aim of opening these branches is to ease crowding at the main General Medical Council in the Sabah health area and to keep pace with the increase in numbers the centers.

The sources stressed that the Ministry of Health aims to overcome the difficulties and obstacles facing recipients of the health service, and to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
