It is my pleasure to convey my warmest congratulations to the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the government, and to the friendly people of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of the 61st National Day and 31st Liberation Day.
Malta and Kuwait enjoy long-standing excellent relations based on friendship and mutual respect. This year is a particularly important landmark in the development of relations as we mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries.
I look forward to the further strengthening of bilateral relations and take this opportunity to wish the leadership, the government, and the people of the State of Kuwait, peace and prosperity.
