An Amiri decree has been issued to renew the tenure of Lieutenant-General Najeeb Al-Othman who was the Assistant Secretary-General of the Central Agency for Resolving Status of Illegal Residents.
According to a local Arabic newspaper he will hold the rank of Assistant Undersecretary for a period of four years. The decree published in the Official Gazette “Kuwait Al-Youm”, in today’s (Sunday) will be effective as of May 23, 2021.
The newspaper said a decree has also been issued promoting Major-General Anwar Al-Barjas to the rank of Lieutenant-General of the Police Force and appoints him as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
