After the market saw the scarcity of seasonal truffles, imported truffles arrived in the local market, and it was surprising the price of one kilo ranged between 70 and 100 dinars, depending on the size, which sent some consumers to compare the price of a kilo of falafah to the price of a barrel of oil.
On the other hand, some other types, especially Libyan and Algerian, truffles cost between 30 and 50 dinars per kilo, reports Al-Jarida daily.
