Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Oil Minister, Bader Al Mulla stated on Tuesday at the opening of the Kuwait pavilion during the COP27 held at Sharm El-Sheikh resort that there is international orientation to resolve climate change, further stressing the importance of carbon neutrality and moving to green energy.

COP27 is one of the most important international conferences that leads to international cooperation,during which he further explained the need for financial support in order to execute their strategic plans on this matter.

The Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that he met with the Kuwaiti negotiating team, oil companies, Environment Public Authority, the Kuwait Fund for Development and other parties supporting Kuwait in taking measures to resolve environmental issues, in hopes that this conference would help in effective participation by the people as well as the authorities.
