The data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute shows Kuwaitis have bought 189 properties last October, ranking sixth, after the Iranians who topped the list with 1,265 properties; the Iraqis came in second place with 926 properties, the Russians third with 543, the Germans fourth with 256 properties and the Kazakhs fifth who have bought 191 properties.

Al-Qabas has learned Turkey last October sold 5,893 properties to foreigners, an increase of 12.1% compared to the same month of 2020.

The data showed Istanbul topped the list of cities selling real estate to foreigners with 2,464 properties, followed by Antalya 385 properties and capital Ankara in third place with 359 properties.

The sources told the daily Turkey has sold a whopping 43,372 properties to foreigners since the beginning of 2021 until last month (October), an increase of 38% compared to the same period last year.
