Turkish statistical data shows Kuwaitis ranked seventh in terms of foreigners buying real estate in Turkey last November with the purchase of a total of 185 properties.

Al-Rai referring to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute indicated the Iranians topped the list of rankings with 1,406 properties followed by the Iraqis in second place with 1,075 properties, the Russians third with 836, the Germans 322, the Kazakhs 278 and the Afghans 231 respectively, according to KUNA.

The daily indicated the total number of real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey was 7,363 properties, an increase of 48.4 percent compared to the same month in 2020, adding Istanbul topped in selling real estate to foreigners, with 2,922 properties, followed by Antalya with 917, and then the capital, Ankara, with 428 properties.

Sources stated the total real estate sold to foreigners from the beginning of 2021 until the end of November was 50,735, with a growth of 39.4 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
