The General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents at the Ministry of Interior said 240 Kuwaitis has reported the loss of their original citizenship certificates and their passports.
Al-Qabas daily quoting Interior Ministry sources said, if anyone finds these documents they should hand them over to the department within two weeks after the publication of the names of these persons in Kuwait Alyawm (official gazette) following which they will be granted new Kuwaiti passports and citizenship certificates, according to the procedures followed in the event of lost documents.
