Kuwaiti citizens continued crossing Nuwaiseeb border passageway from Saudi Arabia for the second day on Wednesday, part of a government repatriation plan to bring back nationals amidst spread of coronavirus.

Citizens passed through the crossing smoothly and in line with instructions of the health authorities, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.

It said citizens could enter the country through Nuwaiseeb crossing between 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and they would be taken to mandatory quarantine in Al-Khiran Resort.

The land repatriation plan began yesterday and set to end on May 20.
