Turkish statistics showed that Kuwaitis are eighth in the list of foreigners buying real estate in Turkey. In a report released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday, Kuwaitis bought 156 real estate last March.

It added that Iranians came first with 784 real estate, Iraqis second with 741, Russians third with 547, Germans 244, Kazakhs 241, Afghans 214 and Ukrainians 168. The total number of properties bought by foreigners in Turkey is 5,567 in March, a rise of 31 percent compared to the same time period in 2021, it said.

Istanbul was the top real estate-selling city with 2,245 sold, followed by Antalia with 434 and the capital Ankara with 347. Sales in Q1 2022 saw a rise of 45.1 percent, compared to the same period in 2021, with a total number of 14,344 real estate sold. – KUNA
