In line with Kuwait’s humanitarian tendencies to help the needy and extend a helping hand, Kuwaiti Sultan Faisal Al-Sabeeh has put his apartment in Ukraine and all food he has at the disposal of the needy following the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Al-Sabeeh, who has been visiting Ukraine for ten years, told Al-Rai that “there are dozens of Kuwaitis married to Ukrainian women, and there are those who travel to Ukraine for trade, especially electricity trade, and my apartment is the least that can be offered in such circumstances,” expressing his hope that “the war will end as soon as possible.”

He prayed to God Almighty to protect Kuwait and the Kuwaitis.

In turn, the Kuwaiti Badran bin Yousef, who returned from Ukraine a week ago, told Al-Rai, “I think that most Kuwaitis in Ukraine returned a few days ago” to the country, pointing out that “during his stay in Ukraine, things were normal, and the Ukrainians did not expect any attack on them, so they were leading their lives as normal.”

Ben Youssef stated that this was his first visit to Ukraine for tourism, noting that he “would like to go again after things calm down.”
