Director of the Promotion and Export Opportunities Department in the Kuwaiti ‘Public Authority for Industry’ Hammad Al-Zu’bi stressed on the importance of participating in the regional and international industrial events to learn about the latest developments in different industries.
Al-Zu’bi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Tuesday on the sidelines of his participation in the ‘Project Qatar 2019’ that his participation is also aimed at looking for opportunities to market national products in the regional and international markets, especially as the Kuwaiti products are characterized by quality, diversity and competitive prices.
The exhibition is being held for the 16th year in a row, while the participation of Kuwait is the tenth represented by the Public Authority for Industry, indicating that the exhibition is considered one of the successful regional exhibitions in the field of construction.
He added that the exhibition attracts international, Gulf and Arab factories because of the importance of the future of Qatar as it will host international events such as the World Cup in 2022 and has large development projects, adding that the participation of Kuwaiti factories in the Kuwaiti pavilion increases the chances of Kuwaiti products entering the Qatari and nearby markets.
He pointed to the public’s appreciation of Kuwait’s pavilion in the exhibition because of the high quality of Kuwaiti industries, adding that during the exhibition there were many talks and preliminary agreements for Kuwaiti companies with some investors.
For his part, Kuwait Embassy Counselor Mohammad Al-Zu’abi praised in a similar statement the Kuwaiti participation in the exhibition, which aims to promote national products and create marketing opportunities in Qatar, which is currently undergoing a comprehensive renaissance.
