The General Fire Force, in collaboration with multiple authorities, executed a plan to combat a tire landfill fire in the Salmi area. The swift response and coordination among concerned entities ensured that the incident was promptly brought under control without any injuries, reports Al-Rai Daily.
Upon receiving an afternoon report on Friday, the Central Operations Department immediately dispatched five firefighting teams to the scene. However, upon arrival, it was discovered that the reported fire was an older tire fire spanning an area of approximately 4,000 square meters.
As the tire landfill fire is now fully under control, the General Fire Force and its allied agencies remain vigilant, ready to respond to any future emergencies.
