A senior Kuwaiti citizen complained to Arabic daily Al Rai about the harassment he had to undergo when returning to Kuwait from United States of America recently
The citizen narrated the way he was treated in US after he had been vaccinated where his vaccination and PCR certificate enabled him to enter without any harsh conditions.
On the other hand when he wished to return back to his home country Kuwait they would not allow him to board a flight without a hotel booking. On return he was forced to quarantine in a hotel where as an above 60 year old he had to clean his own room including the bathroom and take out his own garbage.
He questioned the authorities who are lenient with students, diplomats and their companions who are exempt from institutional quarantine and have not even been vaccinated. He wondered what was the benefit of being vaccinated if he was going to be treated an infected person.
