The Public Authority for Manpower affirmed Kuwait will provide legal protection for women to protect them from violence and exploitation saying the Kuwait Labor Law has provision and is stipulated in Article 23 the prohibition of employing women in hazardous, hard or harmful work.
The authority said in a statement to a local Arabic daily that it is also prohibited to employ a woman in work that is harmful to morals and that is based on exploiting her femininity in a way that is not consistent with public morals, and it is prohibited to employ her in agencies that provide services to men only.
