Today, the Police Sports Union, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Police Sports Union, Major General Huqqi Waleed Al-Shehab, the Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Police Sports Union and the Assistant Secretary-General of the International Police Sports Federation, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Najjar, held a press conference to announce the State of Kuwait’s hosting of the first Police World Cup, in the presence of the delegation of the International Police Sports Federation, represented by its Secretary General Sandro Dirks, Vice President Gonzalo Londoño, and members of the Executive Office, Mr. Luke Smyers, and Mr. Massimo Rey.

Al-Shehab welcomed the delegation of the International Police Sports Federation and the journalists, expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prime Minister and President of the International Police Sports Federation Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his support for holding the tournament, and to His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas, for their interest and keenness to provide all capabilities for the success of the championships organized by the Police Sports Union, reports Al-Rai daily

He pointed out that the tournament will be held in cooperation with the Kuwait Football Association, and under the auspices of the International Police Sports Federation, which is chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Representatives of the International Federation of Police Sports (USIP) expressed great gratitude, thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Interior, for hosting this global activity, and for the State of Kuwait’s great history and experience in hosting police sports activities globally, with their full belief in the success of this championship, which most member states of the International Police Sports Federation to participate in.

Major General Al-Shehab stressed that all efforts will be made from all technical, organizational and administrative aspects to hold this great global event, hoping that the police futsal team will achieve an advanced position in the tournament, which will include the best international police teams.
