The Director General of Kuwait Municipality and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Hosting the Eleventh Joint Gulf Municipal Work Conference, Engineer Ahmed Al-Manfouhi, said, “We are pleased to meet our brothers from the Gulf countries after a forced hiatus of more than two years due to the Corona pandemic.
In a press statement, Al-Manfouhi said he is happy to hold the 3-day Gulf forum on soil of Kuwait, hosted by the Kuwait Municipality — the first meeting of Municipality officials of the Gulf, the aim of which is to exchange information and experiences in the field of municipal work.
Al-Manfouhi stressed that the Gulf Municipalities Conference will address a number of topics, most notably the best uses of the GIS system, as well as volunteer work in the field of municipal work and best practices in waste management and recycling and other topics to benefit from the experiences of our brothers in the GCC countries that contribute to developing municipal services in the region.
