The Council of Ministers has scheduled a meeting today to discuss the imposition of a partial curfew from next Sunday, Al Qabas reported.
An informed source told the daily that the Council of Ministers will review the possibility of implementing the curfew from 5 pm to 5 am for one month. Also, the decision will be reviewed according to the development of the health situation in the country.
The source pointed out that there are two possibilities regarding commercial stores, including cooperative societies- The government can either tighten the health requirements that were approved earlier or close during the curfew timings.
The source indicated that these measures are due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases and the recent recommendations issued by the US Center for Disease Control to avoid traveling to Kuwait.
