The Kuwait technical college Center for Continuing Education (ktech CCE) in partnership with the Kuwait Association for Learning Differences (KALD) organized a comprehensive training program to address learning differences and raise awareness of the impact of those differences on the well-being of young adults.

The program’s audience is the faculty members of ktech and is designed to address the unique needs and learning challenges faced by ktech students. In collaboration with KALD, the program was delivered by Dr. Badria AlHajji (Assistant Dean for Student Affairs- CBE- PAAET) presented the program titled “Workshop title : Supporting Students with Learning Differences – Understanding Options for Different Needs”

Ms. Nourah Al Oseimi, Head of the ktech CCE, stated, “Education is a right for all students, regardless of what obstacles or hardships they may face. It is of utmost importance to equip our educators with the tools and skills to succeed when navigating the different learning needs and requirements of their students. It is one of our main priorities at the ktech CCE to ensure the availability of high-quality training experiences in partnership with local and international experts.”

Commenting on the participation of the Kuwait Association for Learning Differences (KALD), Ms. Amal Al-Sayer said, “Training teachers in methods of teaching students with learning differences are one of the main objectives of the Kuwait Association for Learning Differences since its establishment in 2007. A qualified teacher is the cornerstone of a successful and comprehensive education process that helps students grow and flourish in all aspects of their lives: academically, psychologically, and socially.”
