Kuwait Technical College (K-Tech) celebrated the graduation of 125 students on Wednesday, 10 September, in the first of its kind drive-thru ceremony held at K-Tech parking lot. Complying with the health and safety measures mandated by the Ministry of Health. The ceremony was live streamed on YouTube through K-Tech’s official channel.

Speaking to the graduates, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Meshari Ayman Boodai, issued his heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and their families and reiterated the college’s commitment towards providing a comprehensive educational experience despite the ongoing challenges that we’re facing in our world today. He emphasized that in situations like this, only the exceptional are able to grow and innovate and that is what our graduates were able to accomplish during this time. 

Head of Graduate Affairs at K-Tech, Ms. Emman Al Shatti, stated: “K-Tech values and prioritizes the safety and well-being of all those who enter our campus, and that is why all graduates and guests remained in their cars throughout the duration of the ceremony with social distancing protocols in place between each vehicle.”

From her side, the Vice President for Registration and Admissions, Ms. Noura Ayman Boodai, elaborated that 125 students have graduated and are split between 70 graduates in Business Management and 55 graduates in Information Systems and Technology. Ms. Noura offered a special congratulatory message to 7 exceptional students who obtained a full 4.0 GPA and they are: Sabah Salem Al Jaber Al Sabah, Dhuha Imad Al Shareeda, Yousif Ahmed Al Muzaini, Faisal Saeed, Abdoulaziz Al Rashed, Abdulaziz Al Qddiri, and Adel Al Enezi. 

Vice President for Finance and Administration, Mr. Abdulrahman Al Ajeel, stated that K-Tech is committed to providing an advanced and innovative educational experience for all and that the college is currently finalizing the necessary technological and academic preparations for the upcoming intake for the Fall 2020 semester. He also acknowledged the importance of embracing technology as it is the only way forward towards a successful future.

On behalf of his fellow graduates, Mr. Yousef Ahmad Al Muzaini extended his gratitude to the K-Tech management and faculty for their support and trust. He relayed his optimism and excitement for what the future may hold for them as graduates during these exceptional times.

On behalf of her fellow graduates, Ms. Dhuha Imad Al Shareeda also expressed her sincere thanks and gratitude to the K-Tech administration and faculty. She declared her appreciation towards the culture of openness, transparency and understanding of students’ needs and concerns.
