Once the clock ticks 5 pm, the streets in Kuwait became deserted with residents and expats retreating to their homes, while no motorists or pedestrians were visible. The Government declared a partial curfew from 5 pm to 5 am effective for a month as part of the efforts to curb the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and so far, the public has been abiding by the decision.
