Official data revealed that the government spent only 32.8 percent or 562.6 million dinars out of 1.7 billion dinars of the development plan project appropriations by the end of the third quarter (from April to the end of December) of the current fiscal year 2021/2022.
Data issued by the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development show that the current year’s plan includes 131 projects, and at the end of last December, the operational status of 51 projects was in the preparatory stage, 5 projects were in the delivery stage, and 7 projects had not started, while 3 projects had been completed and 65 projects were still being implemented and are in the operational stage, reports a local Arabic daily.
