At least 1,657 people have been infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, taking overall infections to 325,014, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said Friday.
The number of those recovered from the virus pandemic in the same period hit 1,280, increasing total recoveries to 307,512, he told KUNA.
The death toll from the disease rose to 1,813 after registering 3 mortalities in the corresponding period, Al-Sanad noted.
He pointed out that 15,689 patients are being treated at hospitals, in addition to 159 cases at intensive care units.
