At least 1,557 people have been infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, taking overall infections to 332,570, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said Wednesday.
The number of those recovered from the virus pandemic in the same period hit 1,368, increasing total recoveries to 314,218, he told KUNA.
The death toll from the disease rose to 1,837 after registering 6 mortalities in the corresponding period, Al-Sanad noted.
