Kuwait reported 1,477 new coronavirus cases and ten deaths on Friday, raising the total number of cases to 244,325 and deaths to 1,393.
In a statement to KUNA, the Ministry of Health’s official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al- Sanad said 1,367 people recovered from the virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 228,627.
He noted that recovery rate out of infections is 93.6 percent. Patients currently in ICUs is 224, raising the total number of patients still receiving medical care to 14,305.
Meanwhile, swabs taken in the past 24 hours were counted at 11,171, raising the total number of swabs to 2.142,326. Infection rate out of swabs in the past 24 hours is 13.2.
