The Ministry of Health had made preparations to process about 500 Kuwaiti citizens returning from Iran as part of the evacuation plan implemented by Kuwait after the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Two planes arrived this morning and two are scheduled to arrive later from Tehran.
The specialized team will perform compulsory medical tests and examinations, and later refer them immediately to the quarantine center as per the procedures. To date, Kuwait has recorded 45 cases of coronavirus infection, all related to travel to Iran.
