The Kuwait Municipality revealed that the emergency department of the hotline “139” in the transport control department of the Public Services Department and the “WhatsApp Complaints” service had received 1,407 complaints from the six governorates, through a statistic issued by the Public Services Department for the month of last December.

The municipality said that most of the complaints received by the department related to the presence of rubbish and used furniture in open areas and in front of houses and bachelor housing areas, rubble blocking the road, falling trees, street vendors, neglected cars and boats, reports a local Arabic daily.

The department indicated that it received 291 complaints from the Al-Ahmadi Governorate, 247 complaints from the Al-Jahra Governorate, 223 from Mubarak Al-Kabeer, 210 from Al-Farwaniya Governorate, 208 from the Hawalli Governorate and 228 complaints from the Capital Governorate.
