Kuwait Malayalikal Group moves forward working with a commitment to lend a helping hand to those suffering from isolation in the diaspora community. Kuwait Malayalikal Group and Dar Al Saha Polyclinic Abbassiya jointly conducted a medical camp for the employees of Al Wazzan Catering Company, Abdally, on Friday, 22nd January. 

 Dr. Sumanth Mishra (MOH) & Dr. Babu Thomas, along with the Nursing staffs from Dar Al Saha Polyclinic led the tests and gave away necessary medicines. The medical camp conducted in the Abdali area was a great relief to the workers. Al Wazzan Catering Company Camp Director Mr. Hasnain and Camp in-charge Mr. Nagaraj highlighted the relevance of such camps. 103 members benefited from the medical camp. The camp residents who spoke to the KM news team praised the efforts of the Kuwait Malayalikal group for embracing their feelings of not being able to get the treatment they deserved due to the spread of the disease and the lack of travel facilities. The Kuwait Malayalikal Group‌ organizes different events every month.

During this Covid period, the webinars organized by the Kuwait Malayalikal Group provided guidance to the expatriate community in Kuwait by sharing knowledge and easing their worries regarding dental diseases, heart related diseases and legal doubts. Harish, Jijo, Jacob, Shemeer, Roshan, George, Nikhil, Shanjith, Lanish and Thomas coordinated the Medical Camp. Kuwait Malayalikal Group President George Cherian and General Convener Shemir Rahim said they would be conducting various events in the coming months, including webinars and a blood donation camp.
