His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled said, “We succeeded in overcoming a new wave of Corona with minimal health, economic and societal damage.”
He announced in a conference on Kuwait TV that everyone would be allowed to enter the complexes, as well as social events in indoor and open spaces.
The Council of Ministers also announced the re-alignment of classrooms in mosques and the return of students without PCR.
For his part, the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, that “while encouraging openness, we will not abandon epidemiological surveillance and will continue to vaccinate. The pandemic is on its way to the end, but we need precautions.”
He added, “We succeeded in overcoming 4 waves of Corona. For two years, we have been fighting the epidemic and the pandemic. We thank the political leadership for the support received by the Ministry of Health. I thank citizens and residents for their cooperation and response to the requirements over two years.”
He stated that there was “a trend towards a comprehensive return to schools, in consultation with the Ministry of Education.”
He pointed out that “there are no repeated or endless doses of the Covid vaccine…but it is possible that the corona vaccination will return like the normal flu.”
In turn, the official spokesman for the government, Tariq Al-Muzaram, announced the complete return of the roundabouts as of March 13, pointing out that it was decided to allow public transport to operate at full capacity, as well as to allow social events to be held in closed and open spaces, and the unvaccinated enter theaters and homes.
He explained that “there are no conditions on the permitted carrying capacity of the aircraft for its flights.”
Earlier in the day, Al-Muzaram denied “in full and in detail” everything circulated about the resignation of the government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs or any of the members of the government, stressing that what is being circulated is incorrect
