Medical and retina surgeon Dr. Khaled Al-Sabti revealed that Kuwait ranks first in the Gulf and second in the Arab world in the number of vision correction surgeries.
Al-Sabti pointed out that Kuwait has witnessed a qualitative leap in surgery of the retina, pointing out that it provides the latest devices to serve patients, including a medical device that is the latest in the world, which arrived recently, to perform vision correction operations.
Al-Sabti indicated that the device enables doctors to correct short-sightedness and farsightedness in an advanced manner, compared to previous traditional operations, thanks to this advanced technology with stable long-term results.
He pointed out that the duration of this operation using modern technology is done through local anesthesia, and does not exceed four minutes.
