Kuwait’s Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Bassel Al-Sabah discussed Monday with the US Ambassador to Kuwait Alina Romanowski plans, programs and future visions to strengthen ties and cooperation in the health field between both sides.
The Ministry of Health stated in a press release that, during the meeting, they talked about programs for training doctors and health care providers, as well as exchanged experiences, protocols and work policies. Consequently, they spoke about implementing joint initiatives related to development plans and strengthening the infrastructure to deal with emergencies.
Both sides discussed cooperation between the Kuwaiti MoH and American medical institutions and centers, also future partnership to enhance bilateral ties in various health fields that benefits them, it added. In a statement to KUNA, Director of the International Health Relations Department at the Kuwaiti MoH Dr. Rehab Al-Wattian said, on the sidelines of the meeting, that the discussions were held within the plans and programs to reinforce international teamwork.
