The UAE ranked first in the Arab world, followed by Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. According to “CEO World” magazine, Kuwait is the fourth happiest country in the Arab world and 55th in the world, according to the 2023 World Happiness Index.

The index showed that the relationship between the well-being of citizens and generosity in Kuwait had a positive impact on their happiness, and Kuwait scored good points in the life satisfaction index, reports Al-Rai daily.

In the Arab world, the UAE ranked first and 19th in the world, followed by Bahrain second in 35th in the world, then Saudi Arabia in third place, 48 worldwide, Kuwait 55th, then Morocco ranked 63rd in the world.

According to the Global Happiness Index, happiness levels are assessed in more than 140 countries by measuring and analyzing 7 critical factors: work-life balance, social care provided by the state to citizens, per capita income level, health care quality, level of corruption in the state, and education and good, freedom.

According to the index, Switzerland came first, followed by Iceland in second place, then Denmark third, Norway fourth, and Finland fifth at the world level. According to the magazine, the high rating achieved by Switzerland is a clear indication of its positive environment.

As for the most miserable countries in the world, they were Afghanistan, Yemen, Rwanda, Botswana and Tanzania.
