The Vice-President of the Kuwait Football Association, Hayef Al-Mutairi, has announced the comprehensive removal of all suspensions, both those stemming from accumulated yellow cards and red cards, for all players participating in local football tournaments and indoor matches, commencing from the previous 2022-2023 season.

In a press release issued on Thursday, Al-Mutairi emphasized that this decision encompasses the lifting of suspension penalties that had been levied against coaches and administrators as well. Meanwhile, other disciplinary measures and financial fines will remain in effect, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Mutairi, underscored that the primary objective behind nullifying the penalties arising from the accumulation of yellow and red cards is to empower clubs to make full use of their players’ talents.

Additionally, this move will ensure that suspended coaches and administrators can participate as the new 2023-2024 season commences, contributing positively to the heightened level of competition.
