Kuwait government spokesman announced that 3 categories of travellers coming to Kuwait who received the Coronavirus vaccine would be exempted from mandatory institutional quarantine, namely:

1- Those who have received two doses and have received the second dose more than two weeks.

2- Those who received one dose of the vaccine more than 5 weeks ago.

3- Whoever recovered from the coronavirus infection and received one dose, more than 2 weeks ago

4-Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti women who are studying abroad and those of similar status will be exempted from institutional quarantine provided submission of a certificate issued from the Kuwait Cultural Office to prove the student enrollment in one of the abroad universities or provide proof of the continuity of their enrollment in the universities, institutes, or schools abroad.

The center stated that the home quarantine will be applied for a period of 7 days in the event that a PCR examination is performed on the seventh day of arrival proving the absence of infection.

He pointed out that a certificate of registration and registration issued by the university is sufficient for students studying abroad, to make an exception from the institutional quarantine
