His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday received a cable of condolences from United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees’ (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini on Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad’s death. In the cable, Lazzarini voiced heartfelt condolences on the death of the late Amir, lauding Kuwait’s role in helping, and providing care to, Palestinians under Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad’s leadership.
The Commissioner-General prayed to Allah Almighty to grant solace and patience to His Highness the Amir and the Kuwaiti people. His Highness the Amir sent a cable in reply, expressing appreciation to Lazzarini for sincere sympathies and wishing him everlasting well-being.
