The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva extended her “deepest condolences” on Thursday following the death of Kuwait’s former ruler Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In a cable she sent to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the IMF’s top official expressed her sympathies over this immense loss. In his reply, His Highness the Amir thanked the IMF chief for the sincere sentiments, wishing her the best of health and prosperity.
