The Kuwait Airways Corporation announced its commercial flights began operations to 11 destinations in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, from today.

In this regard, the Al-Qabas daily, quoting the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department, Fayez Al-Enezi, said operations to these 11 destinations come within the framework of gradual return of air traffic to normalcy.

He said the operations to these destinations were stopped following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

He added India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are among the most important destinations for the Kuwait Airways due to the high demand by travelers of all segments, whether in terms of education, business, tourism, domestic labor or others.

It is worth noting that Kuwait Airways from mid-June had started operations to a number of permanent summer destinations, such London, Sarajevo, Paris, Geneva, Munich, Frankfurt, Trabzon, Bodrum, Tbilisi, Malaga and Cairo.
