The nose of a Kuwait Airways aircraft was damaged during a snow-related aircraft mishap while landing at Beirut’s airport on Sunday, reports Arab news daily.
A statement on the state-run Kuwait News Agency said the Airbus A320 landed “safely and normally” at Rafik Al-Hariri’s International Airport after the aircraft’s rounded nose cone had hit “a chunk of ice”.
The plane was being fixed by technical staff on the ground and is expected to return to Kuwait around 7p.m. local time Sunday, the statement added.
