After the growth in demand for it as a distinct destination for tourism, especially in the summer season, which is expected to witness an unprecedented boom in the tourism, travel and hospitality sector, Kuwait Airways announced the operation of its scheduled commercial flights to the British city of Manchester, starting from the beginning of next May, with three weekly flights.

The company’s CEO, Maan Razouki, said the Kuwait Airways’ flights to Manchester will be on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, every week, pointing out that this destination is of great importance to the company’s customers, reports a local Arabic daily.

On the importance of Manchester as a tourist destination, Deputy CEO for Operations Issa Al-Haddad explained that it contains many tourist, historical and cultural attractions, and is distinguished as a suitable destination for holidays throughout the year, as it is located in the heart of the most civil urban area in the United Kingdom, and includes the best international universities and sports clubs around the world.
