The Director of Kuwait University, Dr. Youssef Al-Roumi said the university is ready to establish a center for teaching the Korean language, noting that the university intends to sign a cooperation agreement with the Korean embassy in this regard, and is looking forward to establishing the center as soon as possible.

Speaking during a reception of a delegation from the King Seong Institute Foundation from South Korea, headed by Ahn Hye Shin, to hold talks on establishing a Korean language teaching center at the Kuwait University, Al-Roumi said “an agreement will be signed with the College of Arts regarding the academic content of the center.”

For her part, Lee Seung Yoon said, “The King’s Institute has opened 234 institutes in 82 countries to spread the Korean language learning all over the world, and in the Middle East.”
