The Kuwait University has activated the provisions and recommendations of the Artificial Intelligence Ethics Document, launched by UNESCO.
In official correspondence between the academic support services sector and other sectors at the university, the university administration indicated that the activation of the document comes in connection with the university’s strategy for 2018-2023, especially in the two quality items that include creating an administrative, financial and technical system of international quality that supports development and the innovation axis that aims to make the university a productive institution for innovative projects that achieve development and leadership, reports a local Arabic daily.
The university has called on its sectors to activate the UNESCO document on the ethics of artificial intelligence, especially in their current and future applications, which require the use of digital transformation and artificial intelligence tools, big data, block chaining, scientific research, data storage, security and safety, and so on.
