The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has distributed 200 school bags and school supplies to children of needy families in Kuwait, which are registered with the society, coinciding with the return to schools.

Director of the Society’s Local Aid Department, Maryam Al-Adsani, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Tuesday, on the sidelines of the school bags distribution process, that each school bag includes all school tools and supplies, to help alleviate the hardships of needy families as they prepare their children for the new scholastic year.

Al-Adsani affirmed the keenness of the KRCS to provide the needs of needy children. She pointed out distributing school bags to the children of needy families is part of the ongoing humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the KRCS in the educational aspect, including paying their tuition fees
