The Kuwait Oil Tanker Company is studying opportunities for partnerships and joint business for the company’s tankers.
The sources told a local Arabic daily, the company is heading to rely on a global consultant to provide advisory services and that it has in fact 4 international consultants on its list, while the competition in the end will be limited to two companies with only one actually providing the services, after the end of the negotiation rounds.
The sources stated that one of the consulting companies, A.T.KEARNEY FZ-LLC, has submitted its first bid of about $1.145 million, while the value of the bid decreased after the second negotiation to reach $895,000.
The “Boston Group” company has submitted a bid of $1.3 million and did not reduce it in the first and second negotiations, while the third company, “Middle East Strategist”, did not meet the technical specifications and was not called for negotiations after submitting a bid of $565,000, while the fourth company, “Middle East Strategist”, failed to submit a bid.
