Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has signed a deal with a local academic body for the construction of a hardware factory that would enable students there to employ cutting-edge machinery for the development of their practical skills.
The deal, besides serving the local oil market, is also an effort to mold a competent national workforce, said the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), with which the KOC worked out the deal.
As per the agreement, PAAET’s tech-savvy graduates would be able to parlay their academic success into a future career at the KOC, added the statement.
