The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has signed 12 contracts worth KD 45 million last September with local and foreign companies to implement projects during the current year, some of which extend to subsequent years.

Official data, a copy of which has been obtained by the by Al-Anba daily, shows the biggest contract, worth 30.8 million dinars, to provide nursing services to the KOC Hospital in Ahmadi was signed with a local company, while another contract worth 3.3 million dinars was signed to carry out electrical maintenance at the hospital facilities.

The sources stated yet another contract worth 3.6 million dinars was signed with the Joint Contracting Group to lay a pipeline in northern Kuwait, while a contract worth 4 million dinars was signed with Halliburton to provide an electronic system for drilling operations in Kuwait.
